Cuban fun at Cana Restaurant, Torami

The menu ranges from Thai Green Curry, Lamb Beans Curry and Rocket Salmon Pizza, to Spicy Vegetable Coconut Prawns, Raw Prawn Spring Rolls and juicy tender Steak. All priced around the 800Yen mark, the value for money at Cana is outstanding, making it a great place to stop by on your way back to Tokyo after a fun weekend of Surfing or just general sightseeing. The food really is amazing, and they have such a great variety. Parties are more than welcome, just be sure to book in advance as the place does have a great reputation in this area. There is an English menu, Yuriko herself speaks reasonable English, and Cana is always full of lively surfers from the local area as well as from the south of Chiba and Tokyo.
To get there from Tokyo, take the Bay Shore Route over the Rainbow Bridge, then merge onto the Higashi Kanto following the signs for the Keiyo Road. Once on the Keiyo, you want to follow the signs to Togane along the Togane-Chiba Toll Road. In Togane, go through a few sets of traffic lights and then take a left onto the Togane-Kujukuri Toll Road, then the Kujukuri Toll Road, and go straight along the beach side until the end where you will reach a Lawson’s. Turn left here, and then go straight for about 5mins. You will pass a Family Mart and a series of Surf Shops including The Sun, keep going and look out for the Cana sign on your right!
